As Christians, we must boldly protect ourselves against the evil that try to distract us from our relationship with God. Satan will use anything and anyone to try to draw us away from God and our godly character; even other Christians. Satan was once an angel so he knows the word. He will use others to test our godly character. Often, these attacks leave us with mixed emotions.

It is during these times, I encourage you to stay the course; do and say what is right and pleasing to God. Rebuke and kill the flesh so your response represents the kingdom. Let your response provoke change in your offender. Treat them with kindness despite the attack. Look beyond the person and recognize the spirit operating in them. Pray for change in the offender’s mind, body and spirit; it’s the right thing to do.
